Tamin – September 30th, 2008
Kate you are a genius! And an absolutely delightful actress. "The Auditioner" is the best short film I have seen in a very long time. Congratulations on a brilliant, hysterical piece!!!
Josh Rosenthal – September 30th, 2008
nice. very funny. i like
Morgan – September 30th, 2008
as a new york actor...errr auditioner, both videos were awesome and perfectly true. can't wait to see more!
Bill – September 29th, 2008
So much expression; good voice modulation; video interestingly assembled for presentation. Enjoyable. They could have used you a while back in a movie, the website of which I'm working on. They will soon turn their attention to another project. I'll mention you to them. The trailer of their present movie is here:

CrisLark – September 17th, 2008
Fantastic!!! LOL!! I saw the videos on vimeo.com , that's so true!! Though the videos don't look like 2 episodes from the same "series", both are, in their own ways, very funny!
Kateri – August 19th, 2008
So funny Kate! Love the fire eating auditioner! Perfect outfit. Can't wait to see more. Let me know if you need any greasy haired, non-actor, actors :)
Chris – August 7th, 2008
Ran across this on Vimeo.
Funny, funny, funny. I edit commercials and feel so bad for actors when they come in for auditions. You nailed it (of course you know that, you lived it!).
Brilliant writing, perfectly cut, perfect acting... make more, lots more!
Jake – August 5th, 2008
Yes! Very funny. Nice work
Victor Turpin – August 2nd, 2008
Kate you are the funniest thing on internet hehehe
David Neal – July 10th, 2008
Watching here over in the UK. Brilliant!! Loved the Audition.
Kate – July 8th, 2008
Hi Don-I saw your reel and enjoyed it very much! Best of luck to you as well!
donstitt – July 8th, 2008
I saw where someone recommended my reel to you, and thought it was worth mentioning that a friend emailed your link last week and I had a good laugh myself, so thanks, and best of luck.
Brian Hamilton – July 1st, 2008
Kate, that is a painfully truthful, hilariously funny and very well done video! I've been doing on-camera commercials for almost 20 years... and I enjoyed watching it very much. Thank you ;-)
Jordana Capra – July 1st, 2008
These are sadly brilliant! I mean Sad. And True. And Brilliant. You know.
Elizabeth Popiel – June 28th, 2008
Wonderful! GREAT ! Fabulous....and so true.
riz popeer – June 28th, 2008
MORE ideas for episodes:
1. conversation with the agent on the phone. The actor has to careful explain who the heck he/she is even though they have been signed with the agency for 5 years.
2.explaining to persons at a party they they really ARE an actor. they have done broadway, Law & Order, tours etc for 20 years............but since they are not in anything RIGHT NOW....right this minute.........they are NOT an actor.
Kate...go see Don Stitt's reel on YOUTUBE to see a real commercial for Boston Globe that seemed so much like your hysterical imaginary situation. In his case, he was interviewing for jobs. Don't know where it is on the reel but its worth hunting for as you will like it!
GREAT work...good luck on next one.
ronnyg – June 27th, 2008
Great work on the first one, Kate. Very funny throughout. The second one, I'm afraid, is a big drop-off. Just not that funny a premise, and because of that, not many funny moments. The audition premise just works better because we get to see something with some real import.
maurice – June 27th, 2008
great stuff!
Mike Lewis – June 27th, 2008
I love the concept really keep it up, I will make a post on www.kinogo.com
Ashley – June 25th, 2008
HILARIOUS. I think I 'bout peed my pants on the Audition skit. Good job ladies!!
SomeRandomGuy – June 23rd, 2008
Not an actor, but couldn't stop laughing at the auditions reel. Which, considering that I watched it in my very conservative office, was not such a good thing.
Now that I'm out of work, I'm thinking of taking up commercial acting... where did you train to eat fire?
Kate – June 22nd, 2008
Thank you very much! Please keep us posted when your comedy goes up-we'd love to see it!
jsingah – June 22nd, 2008
Hey Kate and Amy- You are very talented people and I salute your work! LOL on both pieces. I've been in the business longer than you've been on the planet and really admire your savvy and taste. My friends and I are currently working on our own comedic project called "50 To Death." Keep an eye out for it. I'll also let you know when our website is up and running.
System Administrator – June 22nd, 2008
Hi Jack-Sorry you are having trouble viewing. The videos should work for anyone who has high-speed internet. Try waiting a few seconds to let the entire video load before you hit the playbar. If that doesn't work, try going here to view it at Vimeo.
Jack Diamond – June 22th, 2008
My playback of the video is severely halting. Any suggestion? What program is best for playback?
Pedro Ortega – June 20th, 2008
Congrats to you both, girls. I live in Brasil and visiting Vimeo have found your work. Its very funny and I enjoy a lot.

I still don't have any eyebrows.

Jaime D. – January 28, 2008
What a riot! You are hysterical my dear. ideas:
1. actors waiting to go into audition.....eyeballing and sizing each other up....body language only....no verbal.
2. first read- throughs when all the actors are giving something that is completely opposite of the directors' vision.
3. complaint calls to Equity/SAG/ AFTRA for rule violations.
Love ya, miss ya.
xoxoxoxo
